Jorden kalder på handling, på fællesskab og på forandring - vi svarer ved at mødes, se og tale sammen.
Titlen er en opfordring – et kald fra vores planet i krise. Gennem filmene lytter vi til de stemmer, der i fortid, nutid og fremtid råber op om uretfærdighed, ødelæggelse og håb.
I samarbejde med Husets Biograf inviterer Extinction Rebellion Danmark dig til en månedlig filmaften, hvor vi sammen dykker ned i fortællinger om civilt modstand og klima- og biodiversitetskollaps.
Hver måned viser vi en film, der sætter fokus på vores fortid, samtid og fremtid – og bagefter åbner vi op for en fælles samtale, hvor vi sammen reflekterer, deler perspektiver og finder håb og handlekraft i fællesskabet.
Denne gang lader vi kortfilme tage plads! Vi viser et par forskellige kortfilm, som giver forskellige perspektiver på klima- og biodiversitetskollapset.
Aftenens første film er “Ecocide” af Alice Hjorth, som handler om to søskene som står på hver sin side om klimakrisen. Derefter ser vi “The last of the nightingales”, om hvordan skovens lyde har forandets af skovbrænder. Til sidst ser vi “Our Ark”, som sætter spørgsmålstegn ved vores bestræbelser på at skabe et virtuelt arkiv af jordens arter.

The Earth calls for action, community, and change—we respond by meeting, seeing, and talking together.
The title is a call to action—a call from our planet in crisis. Through the films, we listen to the voices of the past, present, and future crying out about injustice, destruction, and hope.
In collaboration with Husets Biograf, Extinction Rebellion Denmark invites you to a monthly movie night where we dive into stories of civil resistance and climate and biodiversity collapse.
Each month, we will show a film that focuses on our past, present, and future—and afterwards, we will open up a joint conversation where we can reflect, share perspectives, and find hope and energy for action in our community.
This time, we let short movies take the stage! We’ll show a few different short movies, which give different perspectives on the climate and biodiversity collapse.
The first movie of the evening is “Ecocide” by Alice Hjorth, which tells a story about two siblings on different sides of the climate crisis. Next, we’ll watch “The last of the nightingales”, about how the sounds of the forest have been altered by forest fires. Finally, we’ll watch “Our Ark”, which questions our efforts to create a virtual archive of the Earth’s species.
