Everyone is welcome

No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome in the movement. At Extinction Rebellion everyone is needed. You get into the movement and out on the street by joining an introday, or an intromeeting and a training in civil disobedience.

  1. JOIN AN INTRO MEETING AND TRAINING
    We are organising introductory meetings across the country. Here you will hear about the severity of the climate and ecological collapse and our plan for how we can work together to do something about it. We also organise trainings in civil disobedience. There you will learn why and how we carry out our protest and be trained in de-escalation. After the intro sessions, you’ll have a basic understanding of what it’s all about and will have met the first people from XR. The rest you’ll find out as you go along.   2. JOIN A LOCAL GROUP
    There are local groups all over the country and there’s always plenty to do. Even if you’ve never done it before, you can learn everything you need to know. Find the nearest local group meeting here. The local groups both organise actions themselves and participate collectively in the big nationwide protests. If you can’t see any group near you, don’t hesitate to write to outreach(at)xrdk.org, and we can help you!

  3. TAKE TO THE STREETS
    With all the background work done, you’re ready to take to the streets! Great to have you along.
